Verdict

Jan Faltejsek, fresh from his victory in the Velka Pardubicka, returns to ride old favourite Knockara Beau. He's partnered George Charlton's stable star to eight of his nine victories and the top weight, back on a winning mark today, has won four times here. Garleton, eased in grade, is another potentially well treated but it's difficult to have much faith in Pettifour nowadays while Bescot Springs struggles to get his head in front and More Equity is 5lb wrong in the weights. RAPIDOLYTE DE LADALKA didn't run badly in the Irish Grand National in April considering he was left at the start. Only lightly raced, he may have more to offer this season so gets the nod ahead of Wicklow Lad, having his first start for a new yard, and Micro Mission.
