Irish import Surprise Vendor and Dream Risk would have claims here on their best form but both have been off the track for a while. Willie Hall was second over a longer trip at Newcastle last month while Scrum V comes here off the back of a narrow win at Market Rasen. Only 5lb higher here, the bottom weight should go well though preference is for CIRCUS CLOWN. Jim Goldie's charge is penalised for his win at Ayr last Saturday but gives the impression the extra here will be in his favour and the soft ground is obviously no problem. Quacity has made the frame a couple of times, including at Ayr last time, but doesn't look particularly well handicapped at present.
