Verdict

CRACKING DESTINY (NAP) has a good strike rate over fences and won back on a faster surface at Stratford last month. Another bold bid is expected today but El Borracho face a stiffer task after scoring at Sedgefield and Tonto's Spirit does most of his winning at Cartmel and made all at the latter track last time with Sword Of Fate well beaten. Empire De Maulde’s earlier win at Aintree came over a much longer trip while the returning Some Reign is not the most predictable.
