Verdict

MORNING ROYALTY is upped 5lb for winning at Carlisle last month but James Moffatt's charge scored by eight lengths and can continue his good progress up against today's modest opposition. Gold Opera had been struggling since winning at Newcastle in December but his stamina came into play when scoring over 2m4f at Ayr on Friday for which he's penalised 7lb. Quick Decisson also ran at that meeting but finished tailed off while Quick Brew hasn't raced over fences since May of last year though still makes more appeal than chasing debutants Superior Command and Lowanbehold.
