In depth

Verdict

Teenage Idol is taken to defy a winners penalty at the expense of Border Reiver and Lie Forrit. Teenage Idol made an impressive debut, beating the highly regarded Autumn Harvest and could just be above average. The predicted heavy ground conditions are unlikely to hinder Teenage Idol. Border Reiver disappointed on his secong start, however, a reproduction of his Wetherby second would certainly see him involved. Lie Forrit caused a 100/1 shock when landing his bumper but under a winners penalty could just be vulnerable. Market moves should be noted for the newcomers but experience is taken to prevail and Teenage Idol is taken to land the finale.
