In depth

Verdict

Bocasien Desbois made a winning debut over fences at Market Rasen in March and should be capable of better. Always Tipsy won on heavy going over course and distance last month but the second has let the form down since. BLACK JACK ROVER has won a point-to-point, a bumper and a hurdle. He hasn’t raced since a second at Cartmel last August but has likely been waiting for better ground and is unlikely to fail through lack of fitness. Romulus Du Donjon has been placed three times over fences but has gone 5lb up since a couple of runs at Carlisle last month. Free Range would need a first-time visor to have the desired effect and the remainder are even harder to fancy.
