FRONT RANK can benefit from this drop in grade to see off Political Paddy and Dancing Dik. The selection has been running over two miles on the flat and actually looked like he could nick a prize at Aintree the other week when tried under enterprising tactics. If given a soft lead here, he could soon have his rivals in trouble. Political Paddy is a course and distance regular who can be relied upon to run his usual race. Dancing Dik seems to get on well with this rider and has proven form under most surfaces. Telegonus bolted up in a seller for Donald McCain and now tries to repeat the dose for the Jimmy Lambe yard. Flake is potentially well treated though does not win as often as he should. Glingerbank may be at his best with genuinely good going rather than today's likely surface. Baaher is still a maiden but has been kept busy on the flat during the late summer. Quick Will is a likeable individual who is more than capable of winning this if his jumping problems of last season have been ironed out. Front Rank is a tentative pick in yet another competitive event.
