In depth

Verdict

CHANTING HILL (NAP) has won twice over shorter trips here including her latest outing in March. This extra distance should suit Neil Alexander’s mare and she can defy a rise in the weights. Mance Rayder ran well for second over 3m6f at Perth recently and can figure again in this lower grade while Shanroe Street won for the first time since 2018 when successful at Hexham. Oscar Ceremony ran below par at Carlisle last time having gone close on a couple of occasions before that.
