The weights for this have left Hallyards Gael with a lot to do and, although he is in-form, he has a fair bit more to do today and is passed over in favour of Benrajah, who is a strong galloping sort that may be suited by the way the race is run. Mister Friday and Clear Dawn have both fared well round here in the past and also merit a second look in the betting - while Monty's Quest is a very lightly raced nine-year-old that could go close at a big price if his jumping holds together over a trip that may be on the sharp side for him. However, they may all have to go some to peg back Benrajah if he is allowed an easy lead today and, with a good effort already posted over course and distance from the last month or so, Martin Todhunter's charge is the one to be on here.
