In depth

Verdict

Special Catch has more to do than when landing a novices' handicap at Ayr last month and Clues And Arrows may need this. Aye Well beat Indian Voyage by 12 lengths here in March but the runner-up is now 7lb better off and has since finished a close-up third at Perth whereas the winner was pulled up next time at Aintree, albeit in better company. ALWAYS ON THE RUN is bidding to make amends for a first-fence blunder at Ayr which cost punters plenty - he is still unexposed so gets the nod. Ubaltique was eventually fifth in that Ayr race and looks to be in the handicapper's grip at present.
