Verdict
Supreme Asset failed to follow up his debut hurdle win at Uttoxeter when attempting a longer trip. He'll finish closer in this but UBALDO DES MENHIES has the stronger form. The latter landed a maiden hurdle before going close at Doncaster behind the progressive Pine Creek - Oliver Sherwood's charge gets the nod. Border Phoenix and De Bee Keeper look likely to improve on their modest debut efforts but Early Applause will need to step up on his earlier attempts at hurdling on his first start for Nicky Richards. French import Lysino could prove best of the rest.
