        Verdict

        Ce Ce beat Edgeway to win this at Del Mar last year and won a prep-race in good style last month having earlier been well beaten by Goodnight Olive in a Grade 1 handicap at Saratoga. But the latter doesn’t have a weight advantage this time and third-placed OBLIGATORY is taken to reverse running. Bill Mott’s filly failed to get a clear run at Saratoga and, given she won a Grade 1 at Churchill Downs back in May, gets another chance. The latter’s stablemate Frank's Rockette has run some good races in defeat while Echo Zulu won the Juvenile Fillies at last year’s Breeders’ Cup and arrives on the back of an impressive success in Grade 3 company. Slammed won over 6f here recently while Chi Town Lady beat her fellow three-year-olds at Saratoga and William Buick partners the Japanese raider Chain Of Love.
