In depth

Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with not much public form to go on and the market may well;; tell all but the main protagonists look to be Goblin, Arkholme, Jockser, Pangloss and Kentmere and the tentative vote goes to Goblin. The selection won at up to 10 furlongs on the flat. Is sure to have been well schooled for this is hurdling debut and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat if he stays the trip, Arkholme rates the main danger he was travelling well in a better race when falling three out. This is much easier and if he jumps round he will not be far away. Jockser has won at up to 9 furlongs on the flat and is another with place claims but his best form on the flat is on heavy ground so for that reason he is opposed. Pangloss is from a yard that is doing well in this sphere so is another to monitor in the market. Of the remainder Kentmere is another from a top yard but he gave the impression he would be suited by further on his debut so he is passed over and for the winner we return to Goblin.
