Roznic, Bafana Boy and ANOTHER AMBITION are the three with the strongest claims on the book although Court Ruler and Ajay aren't out of it. Tim Vaughan has persuaded Roznic to take advantage of a hurdling mark that was lower than his chase rating and he remains nicely treated under his penalty. He won well at Southwell and is in good form but this is his third run in a month and his exertions may begin to catch up with him. Bafana Boy couldn't find a turn of foot on his reappearance and finished well held as a result. The rain softened ground may have been against him there and he's also entitled to come on for the outing so it would be no surprise to see the gelding go close. Court Ruler has switched yards again in the hope that it will help him to recapture his best form but he needs to show a little more before he can be recommended. Therefore we'll go with Another Ambition who has been well backed on each of his last two starts. He looked held when falling at Perth in June and was firmly put in his place at Wexford the following month but both runs were over two miles and this stoutly bred gelding is expected to show improved form for the longer trip. The yard hasn't been in great form of late but may receive a boost from Another Ambition.
