Verdict

Mr Fickle, an easy winner at Fontwell last August, was having his first start after a long break when beaten eight lengths in a better race than this at Plumpton but that will have blown away the cobwebs. It's over a year since Fresh New Dawn last ran and he's never won but he stays the trip well, has dropped to a fair mark, and wouldn't mind a bit of rain. Tel'art has only had four starts over timber and makes his handicap bow after a fair run at Warwick but this can go to GOLDRAPPER (NAP), beaten only a length over the track and trip last month before the same distance behind in a tough Ludlow handicap. The Accountant hadn't show much before a much better effort at Market Rasen so is one for the short-list.
