Verdict

CAPRICE D’ANGLAIS was clear of the rest when unseating on his chasing bow but made amends when winning a novices’ handicap on his latest start at Hereford. He’s taken to defy a penalty and get the better of another recent winner at Hereford in Knight's Reward. That was the latter’s first start over fences and he’s only upped 4lb today while Viking Mistress may well have been placed on her chasing debut at Lingfield if she’d stayed on her feet. The remainder have shown little over fences so far and are hard to fancy.
