In depth

Verdict

Pougne Bobbi has run well enough in a couple of starts this season without setting the world alight. He’s slipped further down the weights and is eased in grade here so has to go on the short-list but is giving a stone to MASTERPLAN. Charlie Longsdon’s charge deserves a change of luck after close seconds at Doncaster and Sandown, though is edging up the ratings. Cusheen Bridge has been thereabouts lately and makes more appeal than the other course winner Allee Bleue. Princeton Royale has a decent strike-rate but would have preferred a faster surface.
