Verdict

TOM CREEN continues to climb the ratings after landing an impressive four of his eight starts over fences. All four have come at Sedgefield, but he did run really well here in April when a close-up second. The ground is a possible concern, but he scored on good ground between the flags and gets the vote. William Cody rates a major danger as he backed up a strong first season over fences with an excellent reappearance run at Wetherby this month. The remainder all have some fair form in the book, whilst also having a question mark or two against their chance, but Mylesfromwicklow showed plenty of promise over hurdles without getting his head in front and looks the sort to progress as a chaser. He is shortlisted along with Maclaine, who makes his seasonal reappearance.
