AP McCoy and Jim Best have a good record when teaming up together and YOSSI can land this tricky heat at the main expense of Sir Haydn and Master Charm. The selection has been off the track for 80 days and was last seen finishing third at Fakenham on New Year's Day. His flat record might suggest that he has a problem with putting his head in front but if that is the case then he could have no better pilot than today's to help him make up his mind. Master Charm didn't seem to improve too much for the longer trip last time at Newbury and despite some promising runs earlier in his short career, he now has a bit to prove. Gizmondo needs watching in the betting for any support as he returns from running on the flat, whilst Come On Jonny has a row of duck eggs next to his name but he is now starting to look like an interestingly handicapped horse. Scutch Mill is another who has plenty of experience, especially on the flat but there is certainly nothing exceptional about it or indeed his hurdles form as a whole. Sir Haydn makes more appeal; the course and distance winner is another modest flat horse but he has won round here before and hasn't been seen over hurdles for a while. A tricky contest to really get to grips with, but preference is for Yossi.
