More quantity than quality here, with several of these out of sorts. Bold King is a bit in and out, but he would have a chance if he could reproduce his effort when winning at Ludlow this time last year. Madam Mosso is back down to a mark only 2lbs higher than when successful at Exeter just before Christmas, while Busted Flat comes from a yard that is worthy of the closest inspection when coming down here. A beaten favourite last time, Colonial Rule is clearly one of the yard's lesser lights, but he may be better suited by this faster surface and clearly comes into the argument. However, the selection is Kippanour, who seems to reserve his best for here and although he has won on testing ground, he is just as at home on this faster ground.
