Verdict

The consistent CARINENA is fancied to defy her penalty and follow up her victory at Musselburgh under regular pilot Craig Nichol. Angel Face weakened quickly when third at Plumpton but should improve on that here and looks the danger ahead of May's Perth bumper winner The Organist. Crockery and Stepover are others making their hurdling debuts and the latter is now tried in a hood as connections seek some improvement.
