Verdict

CARRAIG MOR was let down by his jumping when forfeiting an unbeaten record at Ascot. But it's much too soon to write off Alan King's six-year-old and he can get back to winning ways here as Mosspark is taking on much stronger opposition than when winning at Exeter and Leicester at the end of last year. Spirit Of Shankly has won twice over timber and finished fourth in last month Lanzarote Hurdle so can't be ignored. A disappointing run in a jumpers' bumper at Kempton last time could have been down to the Polytrack surface. Chasse En Mer, who gets all the allowances, and Chase The Spud are both promising novices but may be biting off more than they can chew on this occasion.
