In depth

Verdict

Lantiern showed a big improvement for wind surgery when landing an all-weather bumper at Lingfield last month with Parisian Affair finishing second. But he’s penalised today and that should give the edge to ROQUE IT. Olly Murphy’s charge finished a promising third at Bangor on his debut and a conditional’s allowance further helps his cause in this. Captain Ivan is from a family of bumper and jumps winners and preferred to the Flat-bred Folau and Redford Road of the newcomers.
