Ancient Quest Decent debut over hurdles after a long spell out of action. Open to improvement and should put up a good account.
Dark Shell (IRE) Well regarded and a useful horse with Sir Michael Stoute on the flat. A shade disappointing when only second on debut over timber at Wincanton, but that still looks fair form and he should know a bit more today.
Malakal (IRE) Lowly rated maiden on the flat and hard to fancy on hurdles debut.
Mardani (IRE) Expensive purchase from Mark Johnston's yard. Useful flat form over middle distances and keep an eye on the market for this, his hurdling debut.
Martinez (IRE) Placed at Sedgefield on second start over timber, but this looks a lot harder.
Owthorpe Borders Moderate bumper form and has not raced for almost two years. Hurdles debut.
Reginald Racquet (IRE) Hurdling debut; has shown little in three starts in bumper company
Smart Savannah Highly rated flat horse for Roger Charlton, who liked soft ground. Interesting recruit.
Stamparland Hill A couple of encouraging efforts over timber so far, and capable of finding a place here. Chaser in the making.
Valjean (IRE) Poor maiden on flat. Hard to fancy on hurdles debut.
Fille Doree No promise shown in two runs in bumpers.
Hollow Legs Little promise in only start over hurdles, having previously been well beaten in three bumper races.
Laurie Shearer Pulled up in weaker race than this last time, previously tailed off on the flat.
Little Pippin Good flat handicapper who looked in need of the run on hurdles debut and no surprise to see her at least find the frame this time.
Midy's Risk (FR) Reasonable effort behind the smart Dibea Times in France. British debut.
Musally Pulled up only start over hurdles; reasonable form on the flat previously.
Able Native (IRE) Holds Martinez on debut second at Sedgefield but again, this looks a lot harder; AW winner.
Silver Gift Improved effort when fourth here recently but would have to step up considerably to feature here.
