Start In Front didn’t manage a win in four starts in France but came good at Wetherby on his UK debut, beating Casi Crudo. Chaos Control is 8lb better off than when beaten a length-and-a-half by Samuel Spade at Kempton and should reverse the form but PERSEUS WAY was still showing signs of inexperience when third in the Grade 2 Finale at Chepstow and looks the form pick as he had Polyphonic well behind at Leicester earlier. Despereaux’s win here in November hasn’t worked out.
