CALL OF THE LOON has done well in two starts for Christian Williams and looks the one to beat as Dindin has been beaten off lower marks the last twice. Lord Sparky is having a first run for a new yard having had a break but is a standing dish around here, though usually needs an outing or two before striking form. Judex Lefou may also need this and would have preferred easier ground.
Dindin (FR) 15-8fav (10-11) Tracked leading trio, 3rd after 10th, 2nd next, pecked 12th, ridden home turn, hit 2 out, stayed on same pace run-in, 2nd of 5, 2l behind Somekindofstar (11-12) at Warwick 2m 4f hcp (4) gd in Sep.
Lord Sparky 85-40 (10-13) Jumped left at times, chased leader, bumped 4th, led 4 out, headed last, lost 2nd towards finish, 3rd of 6, 3l behind One For Billy (12-0) at Huntingdon 2m 4f hcp (4) gd in May.
Judex Lefou (IRE) 11-4fav (11-12) In rear, mistake 6th and 7th, pulled up after 8th, at Chepstow 2m 3f hcp (5) gs in Mar.
Bal Amie (FR) (10-6) 3rd of 5, 1 1/2l behind at Les Landes 2m 2f hcp in Aug.
Call Of The Loon (IRE) 5-4fav (10-2) Tracked front pair, good jump and led 15th, faced strong challenge from 3 out, soon pushed along, ridden after last, stayed on but headed towards finish and no extra, 2nd of 3, 3/4l behind Nelsons Rock (11-2) at Fontwell 3m 2f hcp (4) gd in Sep.
