Royal Diamond has won four times on the Flat and was third to the useful Keys over 2m at Newbury in July. That suggests he'll stay this trip so Jonjo O'Neill's five-year-old has to go on the short-list on his hurdles bow. Trovare didn't look very keen when unseating his rider on debut at Fontwell but battled well to get the better of subsequent winner Arab League at Plumpton last month and is another to consider, while Bedouin Bay won at Market Rasen in June but was well beaten on a return visit to the track last time. STEALING THE LINE was impressive when beating Foxinthecots in a bumper on his racecourse debut however. Given his NH pedigree, he can only improve now tacking hurdles and could be good enough to land the spoils here.
