Verdict

A very long absence dilutes confidence in Genstone Trail. Classinaglass has been lightly raced since winning at Catterick almost a year ago but must have some sort of chance and is preferred to Trapper Peak, last seen being soundly beaten in a seller over hurdles at Fakenham. STARS ROYALE gets a very tentative vote in the hope that a step up in distance will suit as he was placed over 3m in a point-to-point and was often noted staying on over 2m over hurdles.
