Verdict
KONIGIN ARA did nothing wrong when a 25/1 chance at Southwell and her allowances can see her home here. Pink Sheets has changed stables since a fair run at Ayr and there should be more to come while Republican will be much better for his run over 1m5f at Fontwell where he was going on at the finish. The Cruix, a son of Galileo, looked in need of a much stiffer test of stamina than he got at Fakenham while Takeit Easy faded inside the final furlong at Market Rasen and this is slightly shorter. Certainly Red was a 33/1 chance at Kempton but belied the odds with a staying-on run while Earl Biffy Biffen is a half-brother to a winning bumper. Pipesmoker is a half-brother to a 1m4f winner in France and is obviously one to note from his powerful yard.
