Bauhaus is a speculative pick against Toni Alcala and Celebrity Call. Although disappointing of late on a softer surface, the selection has demonstrated some ability on a quicker surface and with Richard Phillips' summer team performing perfectly well of late, we will offer the seven-year-old as a spot of value against the more obvious sorts. Toni Alcala was thought to hold few secrets before his recent success at the track. If his lady rider can get him interested in racing again, he has an obvious claim of a follow up. Celebrity Call has proved a little disappointing this term but the dour stayer has won on this surface before and his yard are sending out winners. Big Al has burnt fingers in the past and a completed round would have yielded more of our confidence. Wenger is far from straight forward and he alone will decide whether he wants to get involved. Iris Royal was an admirable sort in his day but he hasn't looked in love with the game of late. Lace Your Boots makes a debut for Jonjo O'Neill. Cassia Heights acts on the going so it would be folly to dismiss the bottomweight on this occasion. A competitive enough race and Bauhaus gets the call.
