Diamond Egg, third at Kempton in March, looks the pick of those with experience but it will be disappointing if at least one of the newcomers doesn’t prove superior. Nicky Henderson’s Benefact, brother to a bumper and hurdles winner and a half-brother to two other winners, looks a likely sort and Maybe Dark is worth a second look but DOMINIC’S FAULT cost £160,000 and is by Camelot so is unlikely to be short of pace.
