Only five of this 13-strong field have had a run but three of them made winning debuts. Haafapiece was a surprise scorer at Kempton but has a nice pedigree for jumping and can only improve. I Know U Too Well just lasted home at Ffos Las while BLAZON’s win at Lingfield in December came on Polytrack. But the latter is worth risking on this switch to Turf as he’s a full brother to a winner on the Flat and a half-brother to two others. Swinging Concerto’s half-brother No Comment won over jumps so he’s among the more interesting newcomers alongside Head Hunter, who is more speedily bred than a lot of Michael Scudamore’s team.
