THE HAPPY CHAPPY ran well over a longer trip here in March when 4lb higher. He can be forgiven his run on rain-softened ground at Exeter when last seen and Bryony Frost’s presence in the saddle is a positive. Costante Via has switched stables and had wind surgery but should be wining soon now his attention is turned to fences and Robyndzone may also do better over the larger obstacles. Dr Time and Mr Love may be the pick of the remainder.
