In depth

Verdict

Cresswell Legend ran very well behind Agamemmon at Southwell in November on his debut under Rules and looks a sure-fire future winner. But he may just have to give best here to the four-year-old filly COCKNEY WREN, who is getting 13lb not taking into account rider’s claims. She was just beaten at Taunton on December and found 1m4f too short at Wetherby subsequently. Wincanton fifth Understatement is a likely improver and so is Raising The Bar. Oski won at Southwell last may but has struggled since under a penalty.
