After seconds in a couple of claimers, Neptune Equester made no impression back in handicap company last time. Phare Isle was still beaten 10 lengths when second at Market Rasen but this more searching test of stamina should suit and Beauboreen went down with all guns blazing over 3m at Bangor after scoring over a shorter trip at Carlisle. ARKOSE has been chasing lately but wasn't beaten far off a higher mark over hurdles last spring and is a sound stayer. He might be good enough to defy top weight as Dawn Twister needs to bounce back from a poor run at Newbury and Promised Wings has been well beaten in two runs this winter.
