My Nosy Rosy won at Chepstow in September but then fell at the second next time at Worcester. Richard Johnson keeps churning out the winners and LORD LIR could be another as the top weight can be forgiven his run at Kempton when chasing a hat-trick. Johnson had to lift his mount off the floor twice after mishaps but he still had every chance when knocked sideways three out and none of the others make much appeal with Red Rosso having to race from 9lb out of the handicap.
Lord Lir (IRE) 11-4fav (10-12) Led, mistake 2nd and 5th, headed just after 3 out, every chance when jumped left and badly hampered next, weakened quickly, 3rd of 6, 20l behind Yabadabadoo (11-1) at Kempton 2m hcp (4) gd in Oct.
Vision Des Champs (FR) 9-4fav (11-2) Tracked leaders in 3rd, went 2nd before 3 out, weakened before 2 out, 3rd of 6, 22l behind Marie Des Anges (11-12) at Fontwell 2m 2f hcp (4) gd in May.
Keychain (IRE) 6-1 (11-7) Prominent, lost place 7th, weakened 4 out, closed on 3rd flat, 4th of 6, dist behind Gee Hi (11-12) at Bangor 2m 1f hcp (4) gd in Oct.
My Nosy Rosy 11-2 (11-8) Fell 2nd, at Worcester 2m hcp (5) gd in Oct.
Red Rosso 5-1 (10-4) Held up towards rear, headway before 7 out, joined winner 4 out, mistake 3 out, ridden before last, kept on and always held, 2nd of 6, 5l behind Larkhall (10-4) at Southwell 2m hcp (5) gd in Oct.
