Verdict
Nick Gifford's ROYAL WEDDING displayed a progressive run of form towards the end of last season and although he has a bit to prove under this weight we'll take him to score in this handicap chase ahead of Haar and Kirby's Vic. Not seen since scoring in a decent race by 13 lengths in April the selection has a 15lbs mark rise to contend with. That extra weight wouldn't have prevented him going in last time and given this race isn't that much tougher he should go well if picking up from where he left off. Haar's last effort can be ignored when he didn't stay over a much longer trip and he should be seen in a much better light now back over a similar distance to that of his maiden victory. His form behind Mizen Raven on his penultimate start shows his mark to be fair and he looks a leading player. Kirby's Vic has found his form in his last couple of tries and is a pound lighter here while Huguenot will have to show his best to getter the better of our selection Royal Wedding.
