      Verdict

      Meandre won this last year when trained by Andre Fabre and is a leading contender once again. He beat Earl Of Tinsdal on that occasion and a line through the latter brings a couple more of these into the equation. Girolamo is one given he landed a Group 1 in Cologne last season and has already added a Group 2 race to his tally this year. But a chance is taken the returning TEMIDA is ready for action as she had Earl Of Tinsdal three lengths behind when winning at the highest level in Munich last August and has gone well fresh before. Nymphea just missed out in a Group 3 at Haydock last time but more is needed in this and the German Derby third Nordvulkan is preferred.
