This is a competitive affair and it was a much weaker race that Fred Le Macon won here two weeks ago and he's 3lb out of the handicap today. Mountainside and Australasia are also recent winners but the latter will face a battle for the lead with course specialist Beyondtemptation, though Jonathan Haynes' mare prefers softer going. Double W's and Mossies Well are returning from a break but could certainly figure if fully wound-up. Lyric Street, however, now looks too high in the weights. CELTIC MONARCH is 5lb higher than when only second here in June but he ran a cracker in a big field at Galway on his latest start and a similar effort here would make him hard to beat.
