      Verdict

An unappealing betting medium to round off matters and KENSIX STAR is the call with Sunnyside and Fightstar on the list of plausible dangers. Although fairly easy to back on debut at Catterick, Kensix Star produced a performance that suggested he would learn plenty for the run and in what looks to be a weak affair on paper, in receipt of the 5lb weight allowance, we give him our nod albeit at what are likely to be restrictive odds.Sunnyside won over three miles in Irish points and has had the benefit of two runs in this sphere. There should be few issues in relation to stamina. Fightstar was probably bred with the flat in mind. A son of the smart miler, Lord Of Men, he wouldn't be the most obvious stayer but he was a relatively cheap purchase all the same. Lackamon took on a decent grade of competition in Irish points prior to joining Sue Smith. If he learns to settle, he could be pretty useful in time. Jat Punjabi was unfancied on debut at Chepstow and may make a bit more appeal once stepped up in trip. Red Reloaded has left Donald McCain since his last visit to the racecourse so that would hardly be a positive in our book. Kensix Star seems to have been found a suitable opportunity to get off the mark so expect to see him priced accordingly.
