This is a very competitive bumper for the track. Chance The Robin easily landed the odds here last month but Judicial Review, who represents last year’s winning yard, looks held by President Scottie on Ayr running with the latter only third later at Carlisle when Rob Roy Macgregor made a winning debut. ISMAEL changed hands for £130,000 after winning a maiden point in Ireland in January by 12 lengths. His yard has been in good form and Brian Hughes rides on the gelding’s debut under Rules. Paddy O'Mahler was ahead of the more-exposed Boldog when second at Wetherby and there is no reason for a form reversal but Beep Beep Burrow was pulled up when favourite at Doncaster when last seen.
