In depth

Verdict

Kikenny All Star beat The Thirsty Bricky by just over three lengths at Sedgefield 10 days ago but the runner-up is 6lb better off here and could easily turn the tables on this much softer surface. Saddle Pack should make a bold bid to complete his hat-trick, though Carters Rest is a couple of pounds better off than when beaten a length at Carlisle earlier this month and Prosecco hinted at a revival when second to The Thirsty Bricky at Ayr and enjoys a 10lb turnaround in the weights today. Primrose Time and Pamak D'Airy aren't without a chance but the handicapper has given a real chance to STORM SURGE, who looks held by a few of these on recent form but loves this ground and is only 3lb higher now than when beating stronger opposition at Haydock in December.
