Cartmel third Methodtothemadness looks the pick of Lucinda Russell’s two runners in this while Mah Mate Bob showed a willing attitude to fend off Millarville at Cartmel last time. The latter’s colours are often seen in the winner’s enclosure here but George Bewley’s nine-year-old has to give 14lb, less his jockey’s allowance, to GRAYSTOWN who goes particularly well here and bolted up last time, albeit in lesser company. Relkadam was better last time at Market Rasen but is still 7lb higher than his last winning mark.
