Greenwich looks a promising recruit and he can see off Gold Kriek and Benefit. The former pointer managed to get a confidence boosting victory under rules at Plumpton in spite of a bad blunder and go on to another victory here for grandfather and grandson team of Michael and Tom Scudamore. Gold Kriek was exposed as plating class over hurdles and is here on the back of a win in an exceptionally weak Uttoxeter race. Benefit runs in snatches throughout his races and could be the fly in the ointment. He is well in versus his hurdles rating if not a little exposed over the bigger obstacles. York Rite and Supreme Breeze have shown glimpses of ability over hurdles and are watched in the market. Greenwich is our pick on this occasion.
