TOUCH OF IRISH is difficult to oppose and we won't look to do so; place claims are held by Glencree and Lord Larsson. Bumper form isn't always translated to hurdling but Touch Of Irish looks capable of reaching the upper echelons of this discipline if his debut performance at Kelso is anything to go by. A grand stamp of a horse, he looked sure to benefit from that experience but had the race won a long way from home and could be exciting. Lord Larsson may not be that but he is a good, solid yardstick and this dependable sort should be able to pick up some prize money if not scarred by the fall he took in the race won by the selection. Glencree looked a fair sort on debut despite hanging and he lost little caste in defeat behind a fair sort at Huntingdon. He certainly makes more appeal for the forecast than the relatively exposed Luna Landing but it doesn't take a giant leap to conclude that this will be going the way of Touch Of Irish.
