Verdict

There are a couple of potentially useful bumper horses facing the starter here with GOLDEN VIEW preferred to Atlanta Falcon. Karen McLintock's gelding, already a winner between the flags, returned from a lengthy absence to win very easily over C&D eight days ago and looks to have a bright future. Gordon Elliott's charge is also a winning pointer, however, and broke his duck under Rules at Perth earlier in the month. He won't be far away while Powerful Ambition could also play a part if improving a little on his two runs so far.
