Verdict
Ormus was a fairly comfortable winner over C&D last week but this is more competitive and he's never won off a mark this high. Riskier finally came good at Sedgefield last month but surely needs further than this while Prince Tam reserves his best for Newcastle. Arumun won off a higher mark over C&D a couple of years ago and, though hard to predict nowadays, could be interesting back at the track but PETE, having only his second start over fences, could go close if his jumping holds up and Lucy Alexander can produce him late. He gets the vote.
