Verdict

Irish raider GIBBSTOWN has already enjoyed a couple of fruitful raids to the UK of late with wins here and at Ayr. She's upped 5lb for a recent course and distance success but rates a mare in excellent form who looks to set the standard with the useful Derek Fox taking off a valuable 5lb. The majority of her opponents are seeking to rediscover lost form, apart from Definite Appeal, who made a most promising return to action recently after 13 months off when hunting up Sharney Sike at Newcastle. The Corbett charge rates a major threat if not bouncing. Filbert Fox, erratic to say the least, has place claims if putting it all together off the bottom rung.
