Verdict

Tim Vaughan's trip from Wales should pay off with AWBEG MASSINI. The stable conditional takes off a valuable 10lb and a reproduction of the gelding's general level of form this term should suffice. Placed on all starts, he handles these conditions well and has never been beaten far in any of his four outings. Crabbie's Cloudy showed some ability last time but was still beaten over 20 lengths into second spot. However, he does represent top connections who should be able to eke out further improvement from their lightly-raced charge. Alf The Audacious and Rocking Blues have shown sufficient promise to warrant short-list inclusion too.
