Double Magnum was a ready winner under heavy ground at Folkestone earlier this month and Jim Best's seven-year-old is taken to defy the 7lb penalty and follow up here at the main expense of Scott's Mill and Tobesure. The last mentioned has been well held in recent starts but has slipped to a decent mark and does handle testing conditions. Smart Man ran promisingly at Carlisle last time but remains a maiden after 12 starts, while Super Boston has yet to prove that he handles ground as testing as this. Recent Carlisle winner Scott's Mill would have claims if handling the ground but there are no doubts on that score with Double Magnum who should be tough to beat.
